This is a vintage A.W. Faber Castell Pencil Tin, Circa 1920's. The box is empty, but it is clean and perfect for holding your favorite drawing or writing pencils!
The box is in very good vintage condition. Normal signs of use and aging. Faber-Castell pencil box has some surface scratches and edges but otherwise in great condition for something better than 100 years old. The inside lid has the A.W. Faber Castell - Bleistift-Fabrik AG Stein-Nurnberg brand logo (established 1928) The inside ad is written in German, French, and English. This is all metal construction with nice graphics of two knights jousting in front of a castle. This collectible pencil box features the "pencil tournament" graphic.
Great gift idea for the "hard to shop for" draftsman, architect, or great prop for an art studio or home office. Can still be used today as a pencil case.
