This vintage tobacco tin, J. G. Dill's Best Plug, from the Tobacco Company, Richmond , Virginia produced this vintage tin. Considered their pocket-size tin, the rounded corners made it easy to use. Their vintage trademark during the the early Art Nouveau era, is a woman in their oval logo. Circa 1910.
This is one of the more popular tobacco tins to find and is in fair vintage condition considering it's over 100 years old. This empty tin is scratched and worn, however, interior is clean and the hinged top works perfectly. It also does not have any dents or dings. Wonderful vintage patina!
A nice addition to any antique tobacco tin collection or nice to compliment any rustic, country or farmhouse style decor. Also, excellent prop for a smoke shop.
