This oval vintage tin , Nature's Remedy Tablets tin, commonly marketed NR Tablets, was manufactured by the A.H. Lewis Medicine Co. in St. Louis, USA. This empty tin once contained 180 NR tablets, a vegetable laxative, Circa 1920's-1930's. This tin is rare and hard to find in a larger size as it originally sold for $1.00
A great find, this tin is in very good vintage condition and brightly colored with reds, creams, and black colors and graphics. There is some slight surface rust on the front bottom edge of this tin. It still carries some of the tax stamp on the lid and fits perfectly. Some minor wear with minimal patina, and no dents or dings.
Perfect tin for an antique tin collection. Nicely displayed in any rustic, country, or farmhouse style decor. Put a gift card inside and give it to a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or med student. A memorable gift. Nice prop for a doctor's office or pharmacy.
