A great rare vintage medicine tin for Rival Herb Tablets, distributed by the Rival Herb Co. Detroit Michigan. Circa 1910's-1920's. It contained 150 mineral and vegetable tablets boasting to be a cure to just about anything, health related. It was primarily used for the treatment of constipation, but even claimed to cure "female complaints". A "Quack" product of the yesteryear. This empty tin is in good vintage condition with some minor scratches, however, all texts and graphics are still very bright and vivid. Scratches do not affect readability. Hinged lid opens and closes perfectly. In very good vintage condition. It's a perfect tin to display in any rustic, country, or farmhouse style decor. Great conversation piece and nice gift to put a gift card, check or cash in for a doctor, pharmacist, or medical student. Great vintage prop for doctor's desk or at pharmacy counter.
